2024 Esports calendar locked and loaded

The 2024 Motorsport Australia Esports calendar has been released with a busy year on the cards.

Three national championships and two cups have been confirmed as the five major competitions for 2024, with a mix of returning competitions and new categories making up the calendar.

The competitions returning to the fold after solid a first year include the popular Motorsport Australia V8 Touring Car Esports Championship run by Australian Sim Racing and Formula Racing Group’s Motorsport Australia Formula 4 Esports Championship.

Sim Racing Group will be running two new competitions, the Motorsport Australia Toyota 86 Esports Cup and the Motorsport Australia Formula Vee Esports Cup, while the Motorsport Australia GT3 Esports Championship will have a new look with the ANZ Eseries taking charge.

Both of Sim Racing World’s Formula Vee and Toyota 86 categories will run as the two Cup competitions and will be made up of nine rounds – all of which will take place between the start of February and the start of April on Monday and Thursday nights respectively. The new look Motorsport Australia GT3 Esports Championship will get underway in March and will complete its nine rounds by the middle of May. Head to the ANZ ESeries’ Discord for more details.

The Motorsport Australia Formula 4 Esports Championship will start in September, with its six-round calendar to run over six consecutive weeks and conclude in early October. Head to the Formula Racing Group’s Discord for more details.

Boasting the biggest calendar of the lot is the Motorsport Australia V8 Touring Car Esports Championship with 13 rounds making up its 2024 season. Starting in March, the popular competition won’t wrap up until the middle of November.
